I’m a certified K–6 teacher, Towson graduate, and education specialist. I help children feel more comfortable with the work in front of them, one thoughtful step at a time.
My tutoring is in-person around Laurel and Scaggsville, Maryland, within approximately 10 miles. I work with the curriculum your family or school uses, adapting it to your child’s learning needs.

I taught in public school for two years. I understand how much a classroom asks of a teacher and how helpful a little extra one-on-one time can be for a child.

In my current education-specialist role, I work with children on a wide range of academic plans. I also tutor public-school, private-school, and homeschool families.
The way I work
Make room for
an “I get it” moment.
I bring energy, patience, and a love of connecting with kids. When an explanation doesn’t click, we can try another one. When a task feels too big, we can find a smaller starting point.
In a classroom, a child may be one of 15 to 30 students. In a tutoring session, there’s time to listen to how they think, work with their questions, and adapt the pace to them.
